Sesame is open source software released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, and distribute it under the terms of that license.
No Warranty
Sesame is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the security of your backup passwords. If you create an encrypted backup and lose the password, the data cannot be recovered. There is no server, no account, and no way for anyone to reset your password.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the authors or copyright holders be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.
